Ben Cloud - Pastor of AMADEO Church

Ben Cloud is the Lead Pastor at Amadeo Church. Ben is married to Mandy Cloud and has four kids: Noah (10), Jennah (8). Annah (5) and Bono (20 months). Ben currently works full time at Amadeo Church as the Lead Pastor. Ben grew up in the Southern Baptist Church, spent high school and college years at Bethany Community Church, and spent a few years in a four square church before getting married, moving to Chandler and attending Vineyard Community Church in Gilbert for 12 years. Ben has taken three mission trips to India, the first included spending a summer working at Mother Theresa's home for the dying and destitute. Ben has been a champion of missions to Northern Ireland, India and Mexico working with orphangaes and drop in centers for youth. Next up he will be going to Tanzania to train pastors with the Dothan Vineyard.

Ben attended Northern Arizona University where he received his B.S. in English Education and M.A. in Applied Linguistics and has taken some classes at Fuller Theological Seminary. He taught high school English at McClintock High School where he lead a Christian club called Club Genesis. For another 8 years he worked as a software engineer either in a part time capacity or full time capacity. Ben is now working on his Master of Ministry at St Stephen's University.

Prior to starting the church plant Ben served at Vineyard Community Church as the College & Career leader, and Youth pastor. He was the full time youth pastor for 3 years. His last year he saw over 30 go on mission trips to Mexico, 11 go to Northern Ireland, 4 go to Africa, 17 to Camp Barnabas in Missouri, and 1 go to Northern Ireland. In those three years he helped fund raise over 200,000k in mission trips and sent over 150 youth on mission trips around the states and the world. He founded the Gilbert Drop in Center and is now working with the youth leaders on a second drop in center, called the Higley Drop in Center for Youth.

His desire is to see a Nation of Priests raised up - to serve both locally and globally, to learn to live missionally for Jesus Christ in a way that engages all cultures and people for God's glory. His areas of gifting include: Teaching, Giving, Local and Global Missions.

Pastor Bruce Sawyer (with wife Rae Sawyer) came to AMADEO in 2007 and is our pastor of Spiritual Care. Bruce is completing his MDiv from Phoenix Seminary. Bruce helps us with counseling, integrating new families into the fellowship, dealing with "difficult situations," discipleship, and a slew of other critical needs. Bruce began serving on the council of elders Oct 5th and will serve for two years until Oct 5, 2010.

Amy Hoover & Vu Hoover - Children's Pastor and Elder

Amy Hoover is the Children's Pastor at Amadeo Church and her Husband Vu is an elder at Amadeo Church. Amy Hoover has her elementary education degree and has four beautiful kids: Addison, Savana, Ella and AJ.

Amy's primary giftings are administration and teaching.
Vu's primary giftings are administration and discernment. (Vu served a two year term as a council-elder from Sept 11th - 2006-2008) Vu is a permanent member on the Board and serves as a treasurer. Vu also leads the discipleship program.

Robert Howard - Executive Pastor



Robert Howard is the Executive Pastor over facilities, communications and Youth Ministries and is one of our Sunday Teachers. Robert currently leads High School ministries on Monday nights and throughout the week. Robert Howard is married to Angela and has two daughters: one named Trinity and one named Liberty.

Robert Howard grew up in the Assembly of God churches before attending Vineyard Community Church in Gilbert. Robert has served in the High School Youth Group at Vineyard Church and was the Junior High Pastor before starting on the Amadeo Church plant.

Robert Howard works as a Project Manager at Ace Asphalt and attended and graduated from VLI (Vineyard Leadership Insitute). Robert has been a faithful servant leader in his church for as long as he has attended. His areas of gifting include: Teaching, Evangelism, Service and Giving.

Jen & J Johnson - Admin and Elder



Jen & J have been in the vineyard churches for a while - they come to us from Park City, Utah. Jen is our admin who takes care of book-keeping, endless admin duties, the bulletin, and purchasing for countless activities throughout the year.

Jen's giftings are in worship, service, administration & helps

J began his two year term as an elder starting in June of 2007. J's gifts are in discerment, prophetic wisdom and service.

Mark & Susan Bogumil:

Mark has been working with our Junior Highers on Sunday mornings - helping them with integration into the Sunday Service.

Elder Randy Tipton

Randy Tipton grew up in the Nazarene Church and has been on staff at various churches including the vineyard. He has been in the Vineyard for quite a while now - and has been attending AMADEO since it was first planted. Randy has been an invaluable sounding board to the pastor, a small group leader and a faithful and cheerful giver. He has also will be teaching various times in the future on Sundays. (He started a two year term as an elder June - 2007)

Deaconness of Women's Ministry Cheryl Ozmon




Cheryl Ozmon serves as our women's ministry director organizing women's retreats, Saturday morning women's breakfast, and oversees all women's small groups. Cheryl is married to Gary Ozmon and has three wonderful daughters: Lesilee, Lindsay, & Kristen.
Cheryl's giftings are service, administration, worship and compassion.



Deacon of Facilities Jeremy Giguere

Jeremy is our deacon of facilities and makes sure all our sound folks have what they need, that our church setup and tear down team is equipped and that all our facilities are available. He is a true super hero and gifted in helps and service. Jeremy works at Intel and has two wonderful kids (Joshua and Kailey) and a super-wife: Sherri.





Deaconness of Helps, Mercy and Compassion - Shelly Kohler

Shelly helps with our food pantry called RE:STORE and with our outreach projects as well as working with her husband John Kohler on welcoming and greeting. She oversees those who serve communion and does a hundred other jobs we are too embarrassed to mention.

Deacon Ian Aston

Ian Aston is a Deacon at Amadeo Church and takes care of special minsitries. Ian oversees communion, collection, leading a small group, and is also a teacher on Sundays. Ian is married to Kim and they have a boy named Strider and a girl names Kaila. Ian teaches honors math at Gilbert Preparatory Academy. One of Ian's goals is to have more degrees than Fahrenheit. He has a philosophy undergraduate degree and a masters in Educational Leadership. Ian has also graduated from VLI (Vineyard Leadership Institute) with honors.

Ian Aston was a full time Youth Pastor at an Episcopal Church in the North-West region of the the U.S. Ian also helped lead the College & Career for a while and had been a small group leader at Vineyard Church for many years before helping with the Church plant at Amadeo. Ian's primary giftings are: Teaching, Prophesy, Discernment, and Financial Management.
